This book is so awful, I don’t think I’ve ever read a book as badly written, plotted or executed as this. I have never DNFed a book before, someone tell me it’s okay to do so!!!!! 🙃😢

Ahhhhh, this book is proving rather difficult to get through. So much suspense and not enough thrills at all. Also, am I the only one that doesn’t vibe with Lisa Jewell’s writing style? 😑 I mean it’s not bad but why is it so long? 😬

Omg so yesterday I was reading and enjoying myself and all of a sudden it dawned on me who the killer is. Either I’m getting really good because I’ve read a good amount of thrillers or it’s pretty obvious in this one but either way, I’m pretty proud of myself. I mean I’m pretty certain about it. This book is really good though.

Sigh….this book is kind of interesting but for some reason I just can’t seem to get through it in a timely manner. I’m thinking maybe survival tropes in thrillers are just not my cup of tea? Gah, I just wanna be done with this book already.

This book is really good and easy to read, which I have forgotten about this author's books. It feels like a popcorn thriller. The only thing I wish is that there would be more revealed this far into the story because that would help turn this book into five star category. But we'll see- so far, so good.
