The dedication made me cry. The forward from one whose husband's ministry and music we have so appreciated was a delightful surprise. And just two pages into the intro, Colleen has already referenced Lucy and Mole.

This is a book to be devoured or savored depending on the day.

I've kept reading to 60%, thinking it had to get better. But I've only become more confused about the format, more depressed by the story, and less enthused about the main character. Anyone want to tell me if it's worth finishing?

Peterson's musings on art and the creative process are a must-read for every Christian author and artist. It's the kind of book to be read in bits and pieces, underlined or highlighted, and then set aside in order to create (as its reading will inspire you to do!).

From my vantage point of halfway through this book, I would say that it's not a fast read, but appropriately so. For this process of rebuilding, redemption, and restoration is not one that can be rushed.
