Nurse Julie writes with sensitivity and doesn't exploit the feelings of the reader. The goat writer, Margot Starbuck, may have something to do with the cadence and care, but I believe it's the author's voice that comes through.

A good writer on a much needed topic. Nurse Julie is direct, yet caring. She has the pulse of the situation people face when they're told, but have yet to accept, the news that they're dying.
