Excellent look at the former presidents' unofficial club. They feel drawn together because of shared experiences and in spite of political differences. Trump will not fit in.

Cradling Candy in the Void.

Keller, chasing the last forkful of omelet of toast, watched while the waitress filled his coffee cup.

Inside of my solitude I recover perspective and enter into communion with the Holy. Solitude may not include physical aloneness but I can always find interior space to reflect on life and commune with the One I love.

The book was very helpful and insightful as I make my own personal journey along the Contemplative path. At times repetitious; at times seemingly contradictory. Recommends just doing the various practices and not worrying about doing things "correctly." But then at one point he lists in great detail from best to worst ways to be contemplative.
