Ugh still so dang good!

Just got to book 3 and I am whizzing through this book! Ugh I love it.

Holy hell I've never read a work by Plato and unsure if I ever want to again. So incredibly insufferable; with his lack of empathy and strained limitations on consciousness, it makes this so difficult to read. Only 30% in and I could not disagree with his philosophies more. Perhaps I simply align more with Eastern modalities of thought.

The first time I tried to read this book was when I was working as a hostess at my nightclub and had the beautiful soundtrack of "Get Low" by Lil Jon playing in the back whilst reading the first sentence. Fast forward to 2021, my boyfriend got me a beautiful edition of this book for yule and his dad says, "she'll never read that" and so through sheer challenge alone, I WILL tackle this mammoth.

Ok so I didn't think it would be possible, but the second law was even worse than the first lmao.. he recommends to use your friend as a scapegoat if need be. Very dense and negative vibes.

Got past the intro and first chapter, and good god the author is shamelessly unscrupulous af lol. It's littered with red flags but we'll see if my mind changes after reading more "laws" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If I read the words "dint", "prima facie", or "ipso facto" one more time, I will rip the hair off my scalp.

Reading this book for a friend and it's so god-awful. Misogyny and chauvinism galore!

I just have to scream *yes* at the end of every page.

50 pages in and I finished a chapter! hooray!

Dear god... just realized that every chapter is 40+ pages. What have I gotten myself into?

Am certain that this is going to be my favorite book of 2014!

I am aware that this is a work of fiction, but this book is marred by erroneous facts about technology/science. Oh my god. Can't continue reading unless I cringe every other page.
