I haven’t even finished the book and already want to give it 5 stars - every line is just so resonant, funny, and true in a way that makes me feel relieved someone else is able to convey the things I’ve been thinking. It’s nice to hear from a late diagnosed man who relates more to late dx women, too!

I feel like I have to really live in NYC before I can read this, or at least to fully enjoy reading it. I'm very curious about the premise and the writing style is interesting but a lot of it goes over my head. Think I'll put this aside for now.

I don't know that I'm excited enough by this to finish the book. I'm only a quarter of the way through but it just doesn't feel as engaging as the first book and the new characters just aren't that interesting to me (or rather, we learn about them too slowly I think). Think I'll put it down for now and try again later.

Was so excited to read this after it had many recs for being similar to The Darkness Outside Us, but it's a pretty different vibe and unfortunately might not be for me. I'm hoping the pace will pick up soon and there will be more interaction between the main characters. I already paused to read 3 other books before coming back to this but trying to give it a chance 🥺
