This is enjoyably Irish. The conversations may seem slow to some readers, but the this is the way the Irish sometimes speak. They beat around the bush, with words that baffle the listener, while the speakers is really feeling out their audience while not revealing very much. I found myself smiling at “the dance” while remembering how my own Irish Mother would “ feel me out” before answering my questions.

Too crude language & thoughts for my taste. I put it down.
