first time reading Gaimen

this novel has some great scenes. it gets more interesting as I readm

really good overview so far.

the writing is so good

I first read this years and years ago- the Rasta stuff wakes way more sense to me this go around lol

"as they worked, Case gradually became aware of the music that puled constantly through the cluster. it was called dub, a sensuous mosaic cooked from vast libraries of digitalized pop; it was worship, Molly said, and a sense of community"

This novel comes out swinging. The first sentence is just crazy, and then there's the bit with the gypsy dragging the magnetic ingots trough town saying" things have a life of their own, it's just a matter of waking up their soul" and it is basically all on the same page.

Finished reading Leaf Storm. Loved it!

I didn't know this was going to be so intense. Really good. Narrative style I haven't encountered before. Not for the faint of heart.

Intriguing development and interesting style of narration

I'm really enjoying this so far. There's a pulpy element but it's insightful. It's a good, lighter read after the summer's heavy stuff and this semesters academic reads.
