Execution is very slow.

Very, very slow development.

I'm sure there is a point to this mess, just haven't found it yet.

I hate to say this, but so far, there is nothing motivational or upbeat about this story. It's coming across as look at me, look at me and then throw in a few biblical verses in an attempt to stay true to the theme.
