I'm struggling a little bit with this one. Very academic - was expecting more fun

So far I am not a happy camper. This may be the downfall of the series. I hate the segments with Jack the Ripper. I do still enjoy the parts of the book that feature Walter Day and the Murder Squad. Hoping this will be a quick read so I can move on. Who knows, Grecian may redeem himself in the next book.

Getting back to it after a number of weeks of not being able to read at all. This one seems familiar but since I am not certain I will read it again!

Amanda is reading A Dictionary of Ghost Lore
Had to return this to the library before I was done. Not sure when I will be able to get around to getting it back out and finishing it.

Amanda is reading Paradise Lost
I have been enjoying this but it is a difficult read. Not sure how long it will take me to finish as I find a need to take a break and read something else once and a while.

Amanda is on page 49 of 592 of Fear and Loathing at Rolling Stone: The Essential Writing of Hunter S. Thompson
I postponed reading my other book when I ran across this one at the library. It is a new book and could only check it out for 14 days. Already I am in awe of the writing. It is so smooth and incredibly vivid, not to mention brutally funny - but I suppose that is why I love Thompson's work.
