The downside to social media and having a platform is that many of us struggle with comparison. SM can be such a toxic place but also a great place for community.

I really feel for Sofia and completely understand her need to do things on her own.

Sofia is so relatable but I have a feeling that Alex & Caitlin are not actually dating and it’s just an assumption on Sofia’s part.

Women are at a higher risk of losing their lives to domestic violence than men. Femicide is real.

Many things can be true at once; Liliana was a young girl discovering herself, traveling & learning who she wants to be. She could also have led people who cared for her on, acted kind of like a mean girl. She was also the victim of abuse & frightened and she could have been forced to cut ties with people.

The grief the author feels is front & center in this memoir. I truly hope she gets the answers she’s seeking.

This one has been difficult to get through. I’ve been told by friends to push through but the FMC makes me so angry.
