I am so loving this! Joe's characters always amazes me. Always brings out the laughs in me.

The narrator is too monotone for the story. No feelings/emotions from the characters. Makes to listening a struggle.

You could have heard a pin drop. Everyone was holding their breath, including me. After about 3 seconds, Karla said, “NOW!” That “NOW” caused all three of them to levitate off the couch. Hell, it caused me to take a step back from Karla – if I had a handbag, this is when I would be clutching it.
