If we want our churches to look like heaven we see in Revelation, we have to address the hundreds of years of centering whiteness in our theology, Bible reading, and church history and honestly examine the contributions and historicity of people of color in the Bible and the early church!

More academic than I expected it to be - but probably for the better!

As someone that feels at odds with voting solely for candidates because they are pro-life and wants no part of "Trumpism," this book from former 3-term US Senator John Danforth gives much to consider on the Christian's role in reconciliation and peacemaking.

Written in 2006, it's almost prophetic in the way he describes the use of wedge issues to "stir up the base," while further dividing the country.
