I love how this book proposes worlds in which time works differently from our own that might initially seem so different from our world. However, as you sit with each scenario you realize there are aspects of all of them that actually do exist in our world. An amazing book.

I devoured this memoir. Although young, Jaouad has so much hard-earned wisdom. And she writes beautifully. She captures the small details that make every page fully come to life. One line that really struck me: On page 119, “We are all terminal patients on this earth - the mystery is not “if” but “when” death appears in the plotline.” This book really makes you think.
