The blurb is correct but imprecise. This is actually a combination of Arcane, Gideon and The Count of Monte Cristo. Must have been a joy to write and an absolute nightmare to plan and to edit.

A straight up delight so far, you can tell that the author loves writing, it radiates from Marney's POV.

Besties, this has been compared to Gideon the Ninth and so it has been secured and I shall report back.
