I am going on vacation for the next couple of weeks.We are going on an Alaskan Cruise with some friends. I will be back Sept. 14th. I hope to have some great pictures to share. I just finished loading my kindle with Ebooks and audio books. Happy Reading GR Friends!!

I am not liking this trope where the detective gets his friends and family into the investigation. I find that hard to relate to. I know it is FICTION. But....

My life--->The Sit-com!Picture this...cat brings bird into house.Tall ceiling in a dining room filled with glass.2-20yo males-Gee, must get bird out!! Picture: 2 guys chasing bird with 2- telescoping poles with pool nets. Oh my. After much swooping, exhausted bird lands and gets grabbed by hand and thrown out. Where is camera surveillance when I need it? LMAO- ps. nothing broken

Well, I just carved out a couple of hours to myself to re-read Skybound. The emotion that is created is far greater than any particular quote. It is the way the pieces are put together that lead me to something more, More than the words on the page. What a ride!

Ooops! Not first chapter-- Preface. Now I am so ready to start this story!

Love the way it starts--
"Love soars" is name of the first chapter. It is contrasted with the fall of the world around them at the end of the war and the difficulty of love.

Chptr 4- Great way with words-fun.
"Claudia’d mastered the package, neatly dissecting it like it was a formaldehyde-marinated frog in a biology class." Hee hee...

Chptr 1-"For a skinny, twitchy stoner, Rocket had great aim. The brick flew tight, hitting its target cleanly: right onto Trey’s glass-encased dick."

ROFL!
