Grace > Recent Status Updates

Completely in shock--just finished Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys, and I have literally no clue what to do now. I think it's the only other book besides the Book Thief where I felt my face physically react to what I was reading (i.e. tears, jaw literally dropping). I want to write a review but the ending just shocked me. Maybe I'll write one in the next few days, it was so so good. Fantastic writing, so beautiful.

So far this is actually a very interesting novel. I wasn't too huge on the very very short chapters that continue to switch narratives, but now it's starting to pull together. Still waiting to learn enough about Alfred though. But historical fiction is one of my favorites and this is doing well so far.
