Not very captivating as all the characters are not really likeable.
Almost 1/3rd through the book, and the boyfriend is a jerk, you just feel mild pity for Tallulah, and even then, not too much - she has a mom who babysits her baby 3 days a week while she attends college, a house she stays in rent-free, and a boyfriend who loves the baby despite being slightly controlling. Complain much?
