"Mme DE CHANPVAUX Idle! Handsome, poor and idle! As in a fashionable novel! A Bohemian, if I understand aright. What a marvellous day!"

Jonathan Winters is reading Paris France
She wrote that French men go to pieces when their mothers die and if they don't find a woman like their mother to take care of them. Two years after Paris, France was published, Camus' The Stranger was published, and how does that book start? And look at the trouble Meursault gets into and what a troubled young man. Oh but isn't it so.

Jonathan Winters is finished with David Lynch Swerves: Uncertainty from Lost Highway to Inland Empire
Great interpretation of Lynch's later films. Nochimson's writing style is accessible to nonacademic readers and maintains intellectual rigour. Interviews with Lynch and physicist David Albert are interesting as standalone features but provide insight into Nochimson's own creative thinking and writing. I recommend this book for you interested in film, puzzled about Lynch's films, and seeking creative inspiration.
