I have read this before, but it is one of the funniest and insightful book about human nature ever written.

I finished 20,000 Leagues and Journey to the Center of the Earth. This was a very economical way to buy an audiobook. There are something like 7 books or short stories in it for one credit with Audible. I like easy listening of a classic. If I fall asleep, I don’t miss much.

Finished 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Now we are on Journey to the Center of the Earth. Nice and slow and relaxed pace. I can let my mind wander and when I check back in I can follow the book.

I finished 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. Although outdated, it was enjoyable. Now I am doing Journey to the Center of the Earth. It is similar to the previous book. Strangely, the narrator is engaged to marry his cousin. The learned Professor hires an indigenous guide to assist them. Kind of old European colonialism all through it.

I feel compelled to get my $7.50 that I paid for this book. However, it is formulaic and terrible. It is so bad. I am embarrassed to be reading it.

I am really enjoying this period history and mystery series. Since visiting London, I can identify with the physical map of the books. I also like the characters and the situations of the stories. You must give a pass to a few brief torture scenes and or Tudor level justice situations. No feminist scenes that got played out well. I like this series very well.

Ok. 10%_13% China redeems herself. She is the best writer currently writing. Her characterizations are the best.

Oh, darn you library rentals with a bunch of people in line for the ebook! I was not finished and now I have 37 people in line ahead of my renewal. At my age, I will have to start at the beginning again and read it all over!

I don't know, Goodreads, what page I am on. Ok, China, you win the weird prize, for sure. Not sure that I see your usual brilliant writing abilty yet. You are writing like every other good author. Your story is good but the writing is just, meh?

I am listening to the actor Armin ? Whatever his last name is read the book. He is doing a great job. This is a very erotic book full of introspection. a superb character piece. Really good.
