The technology and political aspects of the book are very interesting. How does one prepare to have a revolution? This is a philosophical and political exploration as well as a technological exploration. Very forward thinking for 1966. I don’t think he does a good job with the female characters but perhaps not so bad for the time.

Wow. This is such an amazing book. Every character has secrets and depth. Terrific read.

I am so thoroughly enjoying the narrator. She is a physicist. Much of her inner dialog is about physics and it’s great.

The first person narrator’s voice is very engaging. I’m interested in her as a character. Great story telling.

I love picking this book up at the end of the day to be transported to another place and time. Fantastic story.

I always seem to like the werewolves better Han the vampires.

Reminds me of a mix of Jane Austen and Sophie Kinsella
