The author writes extremely well and has an almost zen like quality to his vignettes about fishing throuout his life. Serious fishermen would enjoy the specifics about types of Flys used etc. Overall I enjoyed the book because I have fished on a much smaller scale but this book is probably not for everyone.

so far not well written...not sure if I will finish...needs to speed up the action as well.
