Seasonal reads!

I saw this was being made into a serious which got me curious. Someone described it as having a Twin Peaks feel. I'm in! May it not disappoint.

May have to stop reading this before bedtime, keep waking my honey up when I laugh.

I needed this book. I really did. It feels incredibly good to just laugh.

I am determined to make it through this book but it is taking some grit. It's not that it isn't interesting, it is. It is that I keep putting down the book and saying what the f*%k. He swings from batshit crazy to complete idiot on the life decisions scale.

May need to stop reading this at bedtime. Bleeding into my dreams and making them even stranger than normal.

Book club choice for this month.

I didn't make a wise choice when I picked up this book to read next. I have a flight this month.

There seems to be a theme to what I decided to pick up and read. I must admit that it didn't strike me until I added them both to goodreads.

Late night of reading this, drinking wine, and listening to Echo and the Bunnymen has put me in quite an introspective mood. :P I haven't read any of his stuff before. I received this as a holiday present and picked it up completely blind. There is something very grounded but still fanciful about it.
