Pausing now, as have to return to library. This is requiring all of my concentration of imagination, and now seems not to be the best time for it. Will come back, hopefully.

Can't stop reading this!

Stalled out on this one. Turns out putting it down for a much anticipated read (or a couple) and coming back to it a week later isn't good for momentum when you have to go back and reread to remind yourself of the characters. Will have to come back when I'm more in the mood for it.

I think I'm going to have to pause this, as I keep putting it down. Might have something to do with the annoying e- reader I'm using, more than the story. Will try back later.

As I chortle my way through this very promising beginning, I realize this is definitely for those who love Gail Carriger or the Hand/Ashton/Meadows books! Fortunately I am one of those kind of peoples.

This has the weird, dreamy feel of Wink Poppy Midnight by April Genevieve Tucholke.

This lovely book is a balm to my soul, especially with what happened yesterday. Am loving every second of it!

The main character is kinda self-centered, so hard to like. I can see that there will be character growth and also see where this will probably go plot-wise, but this is just not what I want to read right now.

Not feeling this. Need something to keep me riveted. Pausing for now.

This is so dark, I'm not sure I'm in the right headspace for this right now. Might have to pause and pick it up at a later date.

I was almost going to give it up, but finally connected to Bastian and the Keel Haul.

I am really liking this so far! It's fun and snarky. Heck yeah!

I'm slogging through this, but think I might have to put it down since it's not bringing me joy. Now the question is : skim the rest or DNF.
