DNF? But I might have. Clearing out my reading list.

WW II museum in New York.

Lost interest early on. Stick with it until the third of the way through and then gave up. Too much of the same thing over and over again. I got tired of all the juices.

Giant dead, they go on rain storm on pond in park and they are ship wrecked castaways on Poplar Island. The Dragonfly blew out to sea/pond and sunk. And the fish weren’t biting. They build a nest in a pine tree.

Otter is shot. Giant Grum has a dog.

They find Dodder and Giant Grum comes.

Very bloody book. Slasher story.

They didn’t like Valentines Day until the end.

I didn’t do well in physics. My teacher died and all my sand barges sank, but I enjoyed this book.

Too many seizures.

Getting close to battle. A lot of bad omens. Book is not really about Custard’s life, but about those associated with the battle. He out ran the rest of the army and met the entire Sioux nation. He had never known defeat and he didn’t think he could be defeated. She seems he may have wanted this victory to further his political ambitions.

Sammy is the MOST stupid, naive heroine I have ever encountered. If you told her not to go into a room because there was a monster in there, he would throw up her hands in glee and say, “Really, let me see!” and rush into the room.

Still one of the best.

About to go to Bella’s old home and seek half sister.

Very quick read. They are on the way to Bella’s home.

Wilson not fan of the Construction.

He is supposed to be sneaking into the house to search for diamonds and midnight. Instead, he is deflowering the heroine on the desk. This is the best use of his time?

Liza said the dog didn’t like men because he and his former owner had been attacked by a man with a knife and the owner killed. They had been attacked by a woman with a knife.

Nurse said she hadn’t talked to the police, but said the wife was killed in her nightgown. How did she know?

Maybe that she could loose her immortal soul to the devil?

Narrator is great for male voices. Good to okay with female voices, but when he does children’s voices, I cringe. Narrators that bother others don’t usually bother me, but his screeching “young “ voices are so different from his other mellow voices. It is grating.

Edith Graceson is sister of Caleb. Has 16 year old son, Ben. 36 years old. Wants another child and to move back to Boston.
C. Driscoll is rancher she meets in a saloon while she is delivering invitations to her brother’s wedding. He refuses it and tells her to bring it out to his ranch.

Certainly not “instant love”. H was introduced— not really early and has just heated up a tiny bit.
