Yeah no.... she stole the guitar? I don't like this book

I'm really disappointed thus far. FMC is giving a bit of "pick me" energy. Also, audioing this and if I hear "mwah haha" one more time, I'll scream and DNF

This is marketed as a small town, enemies to lovers romance but I'm honestly more interested in the suicide-turned-homicide portion of this book and the romance to be a bit flat

Why is it that I have to wait until the last 10-20% of the book for things to happen...

Why on earth would you ask about someone's dead parents mere seconds after an orgasm? Strike 2. The first strike was comparing women to turnips and onions, wannabe-Shrek behind...

I feel like nothing is really happening here and I'm 50% through the book...

I like this but I feel like with Olive saying she' might be "in love" there should have been more development between her and Adam... Like I like them, but like she says, they primarily meet once a week for 15-minutes or a bit more for coffee and then they have had maybe 2 meetups aside from that. I need to learn more about Adam aside from him being sullen and the number of times he calls Olive a "smart ass"

I have never read a more obnoxious couple in my life
