This book is sooo much more wordy and hard to read than I was expecting and I'm only 3 chapters in. Hoping to finish before the movie is out.

Did she read the audiobook and have it dictated to text? It kind of feels that way. Either way, not mad at the narration and I'm pretty entertained.

This one is a lot worse than the first but still enjoyable. I'm halfway through and I feel like I have no idea what the conflict is because it was only mentioned in the first 10%. I feel like all of Libba Bray's 1st in series are meant to be standalones??

I’m not sure how I feel about the slightly paranormal vibe but it’s fine so far
