I'm trying really hard with this book, but I just cannot stand the FMC... Really, I get the idea of a strong and emotionally scarred character, but she is unbearable 😶

Why does this book feel completely different from the first one in the series? I actually don't mind since I had my issues with Book 1, but I'm still stunned by the change in writing style...

This book is breaking my heart anytime Jassyn is involved, and if he doesn't get at least a sliver of happiness, I don't know what I will do.
He's possibly the most broken character I've read and I just want him to be happy. I love the story in general and how it's progressing, other MCs too, but Jassyn <3

A bit of a warning, this is a really dark fantasy, something I'm just starting to dab into, but the worldbuilding seems really strong and I feel the characters so far.

I feel like I keep having so much luck with the luck I have with my ARCs 😍 Quartz Mountain is up to such a good start! If you, like me, love (and love isn't a word strong enough) the Outlander books and TV show, you will love Quartz Mountain ❤️❤️❤️

I can tell you now that this book is so special and precious 🤍 I urge you to go ahead and give it a go. Such a creative world and magic system, the characters and the writing... Oh, the writing style is so so good.

I'm finding this one a bit harder to read than I've anticipated... I've seen that the main issue everybody is having is the lack of dialogues, and I think I'm coming to the same conclusion.
