I’m going to finish this book as a hate read. I would have put it down after page two, but I figured something like this was good during recovery from surgery.

This book is:
* poorly written.
* ludicrously conceived and executed.
* structured blatantly to misdirect the reader while telegraphing the misdirection.
* too reliant on the (silly) idea that the reader cares who the villain is.

I rate DNFs as a 2. Books that I end up hate-reading get a 1 because ultimately they waste more of my time.
