Well this book broke me in two. If you’ve ever held someone’s hand as they died, someone who you love deeply, this will speak to you deeply. Not only is Bo at the end of his long life, but he’s having to say goodbye to those closest to him who are dying of old age as well. The memories that flood his mind at the end bring the pieces of his life together in a way that I know can happen because I’ve seen it.

This is the very best book I read all year, and I had some greats. I learned about all these famous works of art in the most delightful way. Sweet little 10-year old Mona is possibly losing her sight and her old grandpa decides to educate her on the great works of art at the Louvre and other locations. The jacket cover has every piece of art they studied. I love this book.
