Wow, Tom Hanks can read to me all day long - the words hardly matter! Although, I am enjoying the story so far too. :)

Giving up at 12%. I just could not get into this.

36% in and I’m still not committed to this novel, which is disappointing as it has great reviews. Time to move on.

I’m shelving this monster. As I do most of my reading in bed in the evening I just haven’t been grabbing this to read. Will read a digital copy some day!

Returned to the library as my loan is ending but I will be purchasing a copy for myself. Very fascinating!

This book is so heartbreaking, so infuriating, that I can only take it in little doses. But read on, I will - and give thanks for all we know in medicine and industrial safety today!

Buttons for pounds (currency) and lemons for train tickets (a train which has a tiger tail). It's beginning to feel almost akin to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I hope I didn't just jinx it.

I am so impressed with Roske's ability to capture the spectrum of feelings that a tween (in this case Kat) can feel while living with, and trying to understand, a individual with a mental illness. Not only is Kay trying to get a grasp on what's happening with her mom but she's also experiencing the normal highs and lows of being a friend and a student. What a fantastic, believable, heart-tugging read so far!

Reading (again) for book club.

Fascinating. Absolutely fascinating.

Wow, what a literary epic. Richly written without being cumbersome. Pulls you in from the very start.
