Hahahahaha. Omg. Ash's coping strategy is hilarious. I can tell this is a gonna be a great book already.

Although it's highly unlikely that the author was writing Dylan to be a gold digger, it sure feels like it. She keeps commenting on things related to Reese's wealth like how expensive his car must be or him being a partner at his office or his luxurious house. Then after doing all that, she initiates not using a condom? Just feels very shady.

It makes me cringe when a character thinks that the other person staring deeply into her eyes is looking for her secrets.

Also... the author is introducing way too many characters at one go and why are they talking like they all know Piper already.

I really really want to like this book but I don't feel invested in the characters and their relationship at all. I feel like I'm going to give up on this soon. :/

Omg. I'm so close to giving up but I don't know why. The book is actually picking up a little now. Parker is just really really not working as a character to me.

Eh. I am not loving the book so far. The plot seems kinda silly and not even in a funny way. Why would anyone try to "rent" a boyfriend from an auction?? Also, Parker is getting the money to rent Knox from blackmailing her boss?? Wut. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Do people really talk like this?? Their conversation is making me cringe. The Jane Eyre line came out of nowhere.

Lol. This is like the book of positive reinforcement. Every little thing each character does is given tons of praise and admiration.

Not sure if the characters are too easily impressed or I'm just not impressed at all but when the compliments flow, im like ???? How is that cool or fantastic enough to warrant such praise? I mean the line Tabitha wrote was okay but does it warrant a "holy shit. That's amazing. You're amazing"??

Wait... It has only been 3 years since they parted ways and she had to stay 1 more year to finish her degree. So in 2 years, she rose up the ranks so quickly that she might become VP of the bank??? Really???

Eh. Amy IS catty but to be fair, I won't be thrilled if someone who is known to sleep with the hockey players is hanging out with my boyfriend. Also, if Bella has slept with Trevi before then "friendly touches" don't seem so friendly anymore.

I'm a little confused why Vera thinks Ezra is sexist and won't give Sarita to Kaya especially since Ezra previously wanted to hire Vera for Bianca.
