What if Bambi didn't want to be King of the Forest?
Very light weight. Just Bambi going around and meeting some of the characters from Bambi 1 and Bambi 2. Not a big twist really. Though Bambi 2 is underrated as a straight to VHS sequel and if I was doing a "live action" remake of Bambi I would definitely include it. 2 stars.

Fates Three. What if the triplets visited the witch?

Not a great one. The characterisation of the triplets is paper thin. The threat isn't there. The lesson is wishy washy and sweet.

What if Jim Hawkins sides with the Pirates. Focuses on the best part of Treasure Island -- the relationship between Long John Silver and Jim Hawkins. This relationship is what makes Treasure Island one of my absolute favourite stories

After a slow start this is really kicking into gear. That chapter with Brande and his "daemon" was brilliantly written and horrific to read in equal measure

So the Belle one was rubbish. The Ratatouille one was good. The Little Mermaid one was great.

A New Dawn - What if Mufasa Gave Up His Throne by Farrah Rochon.

Not really the right question. More What if Mufasa survived? He survived the Wildebeest attack but could no longer be king. Simba is a very young king and 2 years later there is a lot of tension between the 2. It is very clear that Simba is right in the end, and his concessions dont make as much sense.
