40% in. This seems to be an interesting world with unique characters and world building. BUT nothing is happening. There is no plotline, no mystery so far, no real antagonist. It is, so far, just a story of a woman coming to a new town and learning about magical creatures. She has magic too but has never used it and nothing has transpired on that yet. Slow moving.
