This is the third time in 22 years I've read Pillars of the Earth. It never seems to get old and is likely the best-ever epic novel of this time period I've ever found. Follett may not have known what a winner he had with Pillars when it was first published, yet it's become a cult classic of sorts over the decades. I'll likely follow up by reading the read of the series again when finished with Pillars.
