Appreciative of the arc, but I have a petty grievance I need to air:

the overuse of “Jenny’d” / [name]’d contractions is driving me nuts

“Jenny'd revisited Mia's videos, combing through all of them. When she first started filming, Mia'd worn jeans…”

Not a turn I was expecting but ok

“There were memories that took bites out of you, that would strip you to the bone if you let them. So you didn’t.”

A bit like when you’re watching a scary movie and the characters are doing the wrong thing at every turn, resulting in you wanting to yell at your tv
