Don’t mind me just now getting to some very popular, recommended reads. Something in me cannot physically read a book while it’s being actively hyped.

Not really sure what’s going on here but kinda into it.

Aesop Prahran is hosting the Queer Library (free book per person) from today until 15th June.

Absolutely furious at myself for thinking this was #3 in the Falk series but here we are.

Cannot wait until my assessment is over this week so I can curl up with a coffee & warm treat and get stuck into the second half.

This is easily a top 3 series/trilogy for me. Salander is one of the most unique characters I’ve had the pleasure to read.

Larsson was extremely clever, weaving such a wide and sprawling web of characters, secrets and red herrings.

Whilst sad the trilogy has concluded, I appreciated the ending and will be thinking about this story & its characters for a long time.

TL;DR - read this trilogy!!!!

The pacing and characterisation are both just so good. Watch me finish this over the weekend

What a marvellous decision to return to Mr Aciman’s writing.

It’s a good book when I have to force myself to read it slower to savour every word.

145 pages and still packed a damn emotional punch.

Palpable. Trying to savour every word.

I can’t believe it’s been 15+ years since I first read this book. For me it still holds up, the Twitter thread about Katniss the incredibly unreliable narrator pushed me to reread this book.

I didn’t get through the trilogy the first time but I think I will now.

The set up has been so soft and tender, I hope it doesn’t end in heartbreak for anyone (including me)…
