This reads like one of those Am I the Asshole Reddit posts. " My bond, a literal child, ran from me and her other bonds, grown ass adults, so once we captured her, we starved her, imprisoned her and abused her, emotionally, mentally, physically and sexually. Am I the asshole?"

The second I saw the title of this book, I knew I needed to read it.

Okay this is adorable again but the new author changed the lore of how monsters happened?? In the first book, they've just always been there and in this book, they were created because of a plague? Weird change

This isn't as good as it should be for an author that's written over 100 books. It's honestly a hot mess and I've read better KU books

Tiktok authors have got to start using professional editors. I'm only 25% into this and the amount of typos, grammatical errors and punctuation errors is ridiculous. The plot has promise. It really does. But the writing is so juvenile. For goodness sake, tiktok authors, hire a professional editor to look at your book before you publish it.

In the first horseman book, I wanted him to be redeemed. But his alter ego was truly evil not just morally grey. This is a hard read.

I don't even know how to begin this book. How could he deserve a redemption and how will it work. This series is amazing and exhausting

Just read a review with a spoilers and learn that break up AGAIN at the end of this one and honestly I've never read two characters more worse for each other than these two. They're genuinely horrible to each other.

I love Karina Halle novels. But I gotta take a break from these books. They're emotionally and mentally exhausting. And them being called "romance" novels is false advertising. I'm on book four and NOTHING romantic has happened. The two leads are horrible to each other. Not romance horrible, with banter. Genuinely horrible to each other.
