Also why continue this trope of parent+baby entering a relationship w an Eden. I just hate adding kids to the mix !! Honestly this book is pissing me off idk if I have it in me to finish it

Lemme reiterate again, WE THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS IS BELOW SEA LEVEL. Which means we don’t particularly burry our dead in the ground. I can see oh well disturbed ground in cemetery two-and-two together. BUT BIG BUT—st louis cathedral cemetery #1 is kind of fully cemented mausoleum. Literally the size of a concrete parkinglot. This book is hurting my head but I’ve started it, must finish.

It started out really good! able to familiarize yourself with the peeps. Now it just feels like a memoir—is that the point? I thought it would be a journey growing up with serial killer as a dad, but it like only tidbits of BTK is mentioned. Not to sound like a weirdo or nothing but I wanna know more about her relationship with her dad not about her life. Now I feel as I hit a slow patch in the book :((
