Putting this on pause because I didn’t have the will to finish it in the last 2 days before it was due back at the library. Not because it’s bad, but because I am terrible at listening to audiobooks.

RIP favorite character 😭

A bit of genre bending happening, but really sure how I feel about it. Still enjoying the book as a whole though.

Wonderful! I love the narrator for the audiobook, and am having much more fun with Felicity than with Monty. Aside from her aspirations of becoming a doctor, I feel I really resonate with her.

Fantastic audiobook! Aside from not being able to see the mentioned photos, I really think it shines as something to listen to ❤️

This started out feeling borderline I Am Legend, and then it took a turn I was not expecting. I’m, so far, very happy with the book.

Finally, something I agree with. Jfc woman stop talking about you and your husband’s sex life. I didn’t want to hear it then and I don’t want to hear it now.

Listen I know it’s early for an update, but jfc this girl must be medaling in essay fluff writing because I stg it took this character a whole ass chapter to walk across the street to her sisters.

I’m having some very complicated mixed feelings 🙃

I can tell that this book is going to take forever for me to get through because I’m having some seriously conflicted feelings. One thing I do know, however, is how much I don’t like Sadie 🥰

a. For somebody who’s spent the majority of his life traveling the world with his Egyptologist dad, you would think Carter would be a little less dense, but here we are.

b. Reading this and Ennead (a comic about the murder of Osiris, Set’s reign over Egypt and Horace’s arrival) at the same time is quite a trip 😅

Alright. Okay. I see. I have... I think, mixed feelings, right now? But I’m, like, /almost/ vibing 😂

I really like this book but it feels like it’s falling apart a little bit 😅

With the amount of cliche’s in this book she cannot be writing this seriously. If she isn’t than I love it, is she is then I think I’ll love it even more because that’s crazy 😂
