I'm really enjoying it thus far.

This book is soooooo good.

This book is so good! I'm riveted. Alix Harrow's writing is a joy to read, and the plotting and character development are so well done. This isn't one of those books wherein you know what's going to happen before it does. It's a long book but I don't think it will take me terribly long to read!

I couldn't finish this. The thorns were too weird, and then I got annoyed with the protagonist making bad choices. Because I didn't finish it, I will give it 2 stars, not 1.

I enjoyed it, not as much as The Ten Thousand Doors of January, but it was worth reading. I loved that Arthur was not a conventionally pretty man and that Opal was a complicated, not all positive character. The underworld discussion between Nora and Opal seemed to drag on for too long, but that is really my only big complaint. I think it could have been tweaked for the sake of pacing.

I'm reading this one with my eyes. I like it so far.
