I feel I can either love it or hate it.
I got this from Barnes & Noble "Blind date with a book".
The envelope said: Blind date with an indie rom-com.
-Chicago post-adolescent angst. A parody of art school types
-Slightly inappropriate. Quirky and fresh. Dead end jobs. Awkward sex
-Frank, provocative, tender, bittersweet. Droll slacker Bohemia with a millennial beat.

Let's see how it goes.

This book is making me want to take a course in fiction writing. I love Professor Piper's assignments.

Miriam Toews writing about Mexico. I CAN'T HANDLE THIS.

I guess you can say Nick Hornby is great at constructing characters but I'm on the edge of throwing this book over the wall and into the house next door.

If it wasn't for the reviews, I'd be all "How is this even a book?".
