I keep trying but I just can't get into this.

This one is boring!

I'm struggling. I keep putting this on at bedtime and then next thing I know it's morning.

This is so boring. So many tedious descriptions of fabrioles. Also I still have almost no idea what's going on.

This is kind of a slog. It's very, very long.

So in this audiobook, most characters are portrayed with Asian accents. Eid sounds African. Some others have random british accents. And then the Unceasing Emperor shows up and...*thick southern accent.* It is ridiculous.

Very difficult to get into. There are so many characters and so many settings that it's hard to keep them straight.

I get so anxious when I can't figure out how an author will wrap up a book, but even so I am LOVING this.

I can't put this down!

42% in and I just discovered I read this 4 years ago. I remember nothing at all about it.

This was compared to Hunger Games, but I'm getting very strong Divergent vibes. Not really a compliment, but I'm sucked in now.

Also all the food metaphors, the spontaneous group praying, and the weird constant implication that toenail polish is whorish?

If I hear the phrase "big girls" one more time...

So boring.

Why is this protagonist SO mean?

DNF at 63%. It wasn't terrible, I think I just got distracted by something else, but it also wasn't good enough to go back to.

All of these people taking advantage of Molly really makes me uncomfortable. This is good, but isn't really pleasant to read.

This seems fine so far, but Michelle and some reviews said it was the best book this year/possibly ever, and I'm not seeing that yet.

Where has this book been all my life? It is sooooooo gooooooood. I stayed up till 2 reading and got 3 hours of sleep :/
