Joe has now just lost himself. He is bawling and not giving a care about anything else right now. He is remembering that his crush Francesca is one of the hostages under Dorn and how he has feelings for her. He obviously doesn't want anything to happen to her.

Dorn is still trying to find a way out of his conflict, but the cops are still pursuing his arrest. The story is on the news and CNN. Joe and his are in a predicament right now because they don't understand why they are trying to help this criminal but at the same time they are scared that if they disobey Dorn, they would get shot.

Two helicopters arrived at Joe's house. They are flying atop his house. The story is now on the news that the criminal Dorn, is at Joe's house.

Dorn, the gunman, is now persuaded by the seven teenagers that now he should just go work at a car wash. So now the gunman and the seven teens are eating the pizza Dorn brought when he had to deliver the food.

Joe and his six friends are watching this wrestling show. This guy that delivers pizza to them is a guy that the police are trying to catch because he shot a professor because he failed to graduate.

Joe wants to invite some friends over to his house to hangout and watch this wrestling show. He plans on ordering pizza. His mother isn't sure if it's safe for some of his friends can come over because of the crimes lately in there area.

Near the end of this book, Luke has been out of the hospital for a while now and he is improving everyday. He continues to do work everyday to get back to playing sports.

Luke and his buddy & teammate Andy went out to the baseball field to do some conditioning for remembrance causing his injury. Wallace also talked to the pitcher he was injured by and he said he wanted Kyle to keep pitching in college. Luke said his injury shouldn't keep Kyle from pitching.

Today was the day that Luke Wallace could come home from being the hospital for 2+ weeks. Everyone was excited for Luke to be home. In the midst of all this, Oak Grove is one win away from winning the conference.

I was reading about the next game between Oak Grove and Compton, a conference game. Oak Grove is leading the conference with only one loss, Palo Cove is 2nd with two losses. Compton rounds out the top 3 with three losses. Oak Grove was downing Compton and it looked as Compton might drop another spot in the conference

The pitcher that Luke faced, Kyle Dawkins, came to visit him the hospital. The biggest surprise to Luke was that Dawkins quit after he hurt Luke. Andy Keller the Oak Grove 3rd baseman told Luke that Kyle quit and Luke was shocked.

Luke Wallace has been removed from the ICU in the ER, and is still being cared for. The doctor said he should be able to get back to school and go home in about 2-3 weeks. Most of his friends and family go see him at the hospital.

Luke has been in the hospital for two days now, and there is still a chance he could die. The pitcher Luke faced when he got hurt, turned in his uniform. They don't know if he will ever play again.

Luke is still in critical condition, but he is alive. He has been in the hospital for a couple days now after the incident at home plate. Everyone is praying for him, and they all want the best for him.

Luke Wallace got hit with a pitch in the face by the pitcher, Kyle Dawkins. Luke is in the hospital and hoping that everything is ok. Oak Grove lost that game 3-2.

I have been reading about the game that Oak Grove is currently in against Compton, and it is in the 7th inning, and Oak Grove has two guys on 2nd & 3rd base, and they are trying to win because they are down by a run.

I have been reading the introductions of all the players and other characters. They are talking about how much they love baseball and they are describing the school and their teachers

At the beginning of this book they are introducing the characters. What they do is they put the name of the person and that person tells the story. They are comparing baseball to real life.
