Great reference for the study or watercolor application. I strongly recommend this title to add to your library. I reference a lot of various titles to create my own style and I use scrape material and different weight papers to find my style. Practice makes perfect.

I recommend using scrape water color papers and various weights of paper.

It takes a lot of reading and practice as you begin to understand the writer and what he is explaining to the reader to draw and then the practice begins. I enjoy the techniques and concepts that the writer has been sharing, while showing various steps to create an image.

When I first purchased this coloring book, I was not too keen on coloring on black paper. As I continued to explore my colors I came across bright and day-glow leads from Crayola. What a difference these colors made to my completed flowers.

Started to enjoy coloring the fantastical flowers with bright colors and shades of grey undertones. The pictures that present themselves as the coloring continues to remind me of the gardens in bloom throughout the growing season. I'm glad I purchased this coloring book.
