It’s excellent! David Baldacci is one of my all time favorite mystery, thriller novelists. You can always trust his work.

This book is a page turner. I started it as I promised the author Ted Galdi as soon as I finished ‘Dead End Girl’. I can’t put it down. Many reviewers give very detailed reviews about the characters but I’m always wary of accidentally inserting a spoiler so suffice it to say if you like quick paced, smart thrillers with the promise of intrigue on every page get to it, read ‘Elixir.

I read this book based on rave reviews. I really don’t care for it. Some of the writing is very intriguing but all in all nothing happens, lots of words, verbosity for verbosity sake I think is all I can tell is the purpose of the book.

I just received The Rose Garden | Works of Nubuo Shirasuna from Akira Ogawa from The Rose Society of Japan yesterday. The book is not on Goodreads. It Expresses A Rose Garden as Music. It is the most beautiful work I've ever seen in a garden of roses and every sort of companion plant. What a simple gardener I am, when I see nature expressed as a concerto. Thank-you Honorable Akira Ogawa.

Someone needs to bridge the gap for me. How did Jeffrey Deaver transform from one of the scariest murder mystery writers ever to a high brow Ian Fleming type writer that I am reading to myself in a British accent practically snoozin' instead of scaring myself to death.

This is a pretty good book. A little hard to follow, but good plot.

Up until this point as one of Nelson DeMille's greatest fans, I would say this book is a showcase for his dry sense of humor and quick wit although I cannot believe how incredibly slow, tedious and boring this book is. Only by shear devotion to a favorite author shall I finish the "task" of reading the book.
