Jayne Sinclair is asked to find out a man's fathers name.before he dies. She must hurry as he doesn't have a lot of time left and he is counting on her to find the answer. As she goes about her research, she feels someone is following her and then strange events happen that show someone doesn't want her to continue with her research.

This is more a recipe book with a short story that mentions the recipes. A new cook is helping the owner of the Elm Creek Manor clean out the kitchen cabinets before the new kitchen is installed. Lost treasures are found hidden away and they just add to the story.

Small, quick reads with the same characters as you've come to know from the Women's Murder Club novels. They have captured a very dangerous man and he is going to trial and the killing begins. Everyone is scared.

Half-way through this book and trying hard not to give up on it. All the 5 star reviews lead me to believe it will get better. It is filled with violence from the father to the daughter-murder, broken bones, rock filled socks, etc; will this pair suddenly be people you would want to know.

This is one strange story. At over 500 pages, I hope it picks up a bit.

Just started this last night and did not want to put it down. Enjoying it very much

I'm half-way through and not sure if the author made a right choice. He sets off on foot, no money and is relying on strangers to feed, shelter and provide transportation for him as he thumbs rides. He uses a sign instead of his thumb.. He will accept no money. So far, he has been taken on a scary ride and feared for his life more than once. Seems there are those that trust enough to take him to their homes

Started this last evening, could not put it down till I noticed it was 3 a.m. Looks like this will be another 5 star isn't enough book

So far this is a really nice read.

Half-way through this book and I'm so tempted to stop reading it. But with all the high ratings, maybe it will get better. Confusing book but I will read on!
