Okay, finally liking a few side characters... plus a horse 😅

But WHY is most of the action/relationship building referred to as past tense and not shown on the page? Weird.

Correction: a ferret named Angus and a snake have made an appearance. 😅 They are still the most liked characters in this book, aside from Bristol. Still love her.

Update: I still hate everyone but Bristol. 😅

Thoughts so far:

Love Bristol. She's a very likeable and relatable FMC.

Hate everyone else so far.

Why are there so many adjectives and descriptors?? Usually, I love having descriptors and being able to visualize things, but there's SO many unnecessary words that I can barely follow the plot.
