Finished the first book in the series. Story was enchanting, characters had some good depth. Pacing was a little awkward towards the end, but since the concept was solid, it was ok. Looking forward to the rest.

Made it through 4 books now, the most recent was more aspects verging on the expected. I feel like they’re trying to drag out the character, and it’s kind of painful to slid through the whiplash ing emotions. Still enjoying it and interested to see where the story goes.

I’m on book 3, and though some bits have been predictable, as far as a distopian novel goes, it’s following a bit of a different path, and with 5 more books to come, I’m interested in seeing what other twists may met.

Also, interesting/nice that it appears to be future Canada, instead of future US, though future US seems to play a part as well.

I’m loving this book. It has a lot of practical ways to incorporate maths into everyday (outside) play. And also how to better talk about maths without making it boring.
Geared towards preschool teachers with indoor and outdoor classrooms, it still has useful ideas for other applications.
