So far really enjoying Nao's part of the story, but not really connecting with Ruth, other than the second hand excitement of finding the diary.

Okay so here's the thing. I love this book. I love how reverent it is about trees. I love the multiple stories. I think the audio is good. But Its a 23 hour long audiobook and I think this book would be better served if I was physically reading and annotating. I might have to give up on the audio and just buy the book.

You're the worst, and I can't stand you.

So far I really dislike the narrators voice for Katniss, I realize I've read these as physical books so I have my internal voice that I'm used to, and I've also seen the movies so it's possible that is distoring my experience but I don't think so. I don't know, I just know Im not enjoying the narration.

Decided to re visit this one since I haven't read it since I was a teen.

I am 26 pages into this book, and I am blown away so far by how incredibly charming it is. Its funny in all the right places, the characters are quite witty and lived in. Their personalities shine through so organically. The amount of depth in a simple sentence is so mindblowing to me, I have noticed my mouth dropped open several times. And again, IM ONLY 26 PAGES IN!

This book is absolutely blowing me away so far, the tension is palpable and the writing is fantastic. I am completely invested and can't wait to see where this story goes.

This book has captivated me at every turn, and at halfway, I keep being surprised by where we are in the story and both scared and desperate to know what happens next.

Really really enjoying this one!

Madeline Miller and Costanza Casati, you both have my heart. I feel empowered by your books and the incredible women that reside within them.

I am devouring this book and enjoying every second. I've stopped for the night (at 2:20am) only because I have a lot to do tomorrow.
If I had no obligations, I would just stay up the rest of the night to finish it.
I LOVE when I book makes me want to do that.
